Day 2 - Rydal Mount

Rydal Mount was where poet William Wordsworth lived with his wife and children. Here, we saw the room where he wrote some of his poems. It was not difficult to see how he was inspired with the beautiful scenic views of wide and open gardens that greeted him from where he sat at his table in the attic study.
